Sole no my a (solenomia)

[NL., supposed to combine characters of the genera Solen and Mya. Menke, 1830. Also Solemya. Solenomyidæ (sō-lê-nō-mi'i Sole no my a togata (right valve). dē), n. pl. [NL., gated, and there is a pair of narrow appendiculate bran chiæ; the shell is equivalve, with a thin, spreading epi. dermis, toothle hinge, and internal ligament. These bivalves are sometimes called pod - gapers. Also Solenomyadæ (J. E. Gray, 1840) and Solemyidæ.
