Humidity

Amount of moisture in the air. Since water vapor nece arily exerts pre ure, absolute humidity may be determined by the barometer. The amount of vapor which the air can hold depends on the temperature; the ratio of vapor held to that which it would hold at the temperature if saturated, is called the relative humidity, and may be indicated by wet and dry bulb thermometers.
