(an-nun-se-a's hun.) [From L. an nuncio, Imake known. (Eccl. Hist.) The delivery of a me age, particularly the angel's me age to the Virgin Mary, concerning the birth of our Saviour. The festival in commemoration of the event is called Lady-day, and falls on the 25th of March. [s. 34]
