INTERTRIGO

(Lat.), n. f. I2n-tu5r(te2r)-tri(tre)'go. Gen., -trig'in is. From in ter, between, and terere, to rub. Fr.,ecorchure. Ger.. Fratt. It., intertrigine. Sp., i. Syn.: paratrimma. A chafing or galling of the skin from the friction of two apposed surfaces, and the macerating and irritating effect of accumulated sweat.
