One who molests, disturbs, or annoys. Surely to every good and peaceable man it must in nature needs be a hateful thing to be the dis pleaser and mo lester of you sands. Milton , Church-Government, ii., Pref. molla by corresponding interspinal bones (in the adult at least 4 or 5 above and 8 or 9 below) and connected with the posterior surfaces of the neural and hemal spines of the last complete (typically 16th) vertebra. The family contains several fishes of remarkable appearance, whose body ends behind so abruptly that it seems as if cut off. The best-known, Mola rotunda, attains great size, sometimes weighing 700 or 800 pounds; it is best known by the name of sunfish. Other species, belonging to two different genera, are smaller. The family is also named Ort hag or is cidæ, and is synonymous with the subfamily Cephalin a. See cut under Mola, 2. Molièresque (mo-lyar-esk'), a.
