Corna'ro, the name of a patrician family of Venice, of whom three were doges of the republic, the first , 13651368; the second , 1625-1629; the third , 1709-1722. - СлTERINA, descended from the first, was queen of Cyprus, D. 1510.-LUDOVICO, another member of the family, is celebrated for his longevity, and works on regimen, 1463-1566; and ELENA LUCREZIA, as a poete and learned writer, 1646-1684.
