[ rus. Cetiosaurus . Cf. saurian.] A member of the genus Cetiosaurus, Ceteosaurus (sē"ti-, sētē-ō-sarus), n. [NL., κῆτος , a sea-monster, a whale: see cet us ), + σαυρος , a lizard.] A genus of gigantic fo il dinosaurian reptiles, the species of which attained a length of from 60 to 70 feet, found in the Oölite and Wealden formations. cetochilid (sē-tō-kil'id), n. A crustacean of the family Cetochilidæ.
