(fen’-u-grek). The Trigon ell a fcenumgraecum, a leguminous plant cultivated in France and Germany, the seeds of which contain two alkaloids, cholin and trigon ell in. The seeds are employed for the preparation of emollient poultices, enemata, ointments, and plasters. They are not used internally. 274
