[After Nischne Tagilsk, Urals, where found; suff. -ite ( Min.).] Petrol.: A monoclinic mineral occurring in small concretions of crystals on limonite. Hardne , 3 to 4; specific gravity, 4075; luster, vitreous; color and tail *taglioni (as tal-yō-nē), s . [See def.] An overcoat. So named after a celebrated Italian family of profe ional dancers.
