[Pref. phyllo-, and Greek bryon mo y sea-weed.] Bot.: The contracted pedicel of an ovary, as in some peppers. phyl-15-chăl-çite, s. [Pref. phyllo-; Gr.chalkos =bra , and suff. -ite ( Min. ).] Min .: A name given by Glocker to a division of his family of Halo chal cite. It includes autunite, torbernite, tyrolite, and chalcophyllite (see these words).
