Niobium Dioxide

Nb,O2. Black powder, sp. gr. 6.3, or lustrous regular crystals; soluble in hydrochloric acid; obtained larly in 1685, 1791, and 1815. It has large manufactures of silk. Pop., 1891, 71,623. niobium oxy chloride.
