Tonsillitis

(ton-sil-i’-tis). Inflammation of tonsils. Difficulty in swallowing, so give bread and milk and soft food. Steaming the throat, hot fomentations, pads of hot dry wool or hot salt bags to neck and up towards the ears may give relief.
