Entry

(en'tre.) [Fr. entrée, an entrance.] (Com.) The exhibition or deposit of a ship's papers at the customhouse in the hands of the proper officers, for the obtaining permi ion to land or ship goods, clear the ship for sea, & c.- Single and Double E. See BOOK-KEEPING. (Law.) The act of entering into po e ion of lands and tenements where a person has title of entry.
