dis syllabification (disilabifikaʻshon)

[ dis syllabify (dis-i-lab'i-fi), v. t.; pret. and pp. dis syllabified, ppr. dis syllabifying. [ Of some of them [tongues related and unrelated to Chinese] the roots are in greater or le part di yllabic; and we do not yet know that all dis syllabism , and even that all complexity of syllable beyond a single consonant with following vowel, is not the result of combination or reduplication.
