[Gr. ōmos =the shoulder, and a kantha a prickle.] Entom.: A genus of Beetles, sub-family Lamiine (q. v.). Omacantha gigas is a very large species from the African Gold Coast. om-a-grą, s. [ Gr.ōmos =the shoulder, and agra =a seizure.] Pathol.: Gout in the shoulder; pain in the shoulder.
