Shipping Gazette

This is only an abbreviation of the title of the well known journal „ The Shipping and Mercantile Gazette; and Lloyd’s List ”; the chief paper of its cla in the commercial world. It had its origin in London in 1836, and was co-extant with the „ Lloyd’s List ”; in 1884 the i ue of the latter came under the control of the proprietors of the Shipping Gazette, with which it is incorporated. The Gazette is the accredited source of information upon all matters of news relating to ships, and important to those connected with Shipping interests; it contains the latest particulars of the arrival and sailing of ve els of all countries from all parts; and replies are furnished in its columns to any proper enquiries addre ed to the Editor.
