CAPSAICIN

n. Ka2p-sa'i2-si2n. Fr., caps a'icine. Ger., C. The fiery principle of capsicum; a colorle crystallizable substance, C9H, 4O2, melting at 59 C., soluble in alcohol, in ether, and in the fixed oils.
