Prune

(prilri). See Prunum and Pigments, Conspectus of. P. -juice Expectoration, a peculiar blood-containing sputum, of a dark purple color, resembling prune-juice. It is met with in low forms of croupous pneumonia, in gangrene and in carcinoma of the lung.
