Cologne Cathedral

Founded ab. 814, burned 1248. The present structure, begun 1248, remained in an unfinished state IMG:content-0933.png:[graphic] IMG:content-0934.png:[graphic][merged small] finished 1880. These rise 515 feet from the floor of the nave. The body of the church measures 440 by 240 ft. The bones of the three Magi were bestowed on this church by Frederic Barb a ro a 1162.
