Pott′ery , earthenware ve els: a place where earthenware is manufactured: the busine of a potter.— Potter's clay , clay used in the making of earthenware; Potter's field , a burial-place for strangers (Matt. xxvii. 7); Potter's wheel , a horizontal wheel on which clay ve els are shaped.
