Daniel Pryor ( elder son of Daniel Hack, high constable of Brighton ). b. Brighton 1794; apprenticed to a draper at Chelmsford 1808; imprisoned at Chelmsford for refusing to serve in militia 1814; a draper at Brighton 1815–26; a minister among The Friends 1823 to death; gave £500 to Brighton free library. d. 99 Trafalgar st.
