Ethyl Sulphide

(C2H3)2S. Bpt. 91° C. Ethyl thio ether. Liquid with a disagreeable odor, made by treating ethyl chloride with alcoholic pota ium sulphide. It forms double compounds with the metallic chlorides: (C2H3)2S.HgCl2.
