Clough

Arthur Hugh, English poet, was bom in 1819, studied under Dr. Arnold at Rugby, and then at Oxford. On returning from a tour in America he was appointed an examiner attached to the educational branch of the privy-council office. He died in 1861. His best-known poems are Bothie of Tober-naVuolich, Amours dc Voyages, and the Tragedy of Pipsychus.
