[NL., Nepāl aconite, laburnum, paper, etc. See aconite, etc. Nepaulese (ne-pa-lēs' or -lēz'), a. and n. [ of Tibet. Nepenthaceae (ne-pen-tha'sē-ē), n. pl . [NL. (Lindley, 1836), Nepenthes + -aceæ .] An order of dicotyledonous apetalous plants, with nu- merous ovules in the ovary-cells, diœcio us flow ers, and fleshy albumen, consisting of the single genus Nepenthes . nepenthe (ne-pen'the), n. [Pronounced as if L.; but the L. form is nepenthes : see nepenthes .] Same as nepenthes , 1.
