The greater or a disproportionate share, taken by one of the parties to a contract, and maintained by the right of might. The expre ion is taken from the fable of Æsop in which the lion, fox, ., are hunting together, and is applied to cases in which when two or more parties are acting together the greatest share or profit is taken by the strongest.
