Thomas ( 2 son of George Brush field of Ashford-in-the-Water, Derby shire who d. 25 Feb. 1825 aged 52 ). b. Ashford-in-the-Water 16 Feb. 1798; kept an oil and colour shop at 28 Union st. Spital fields, London 1821–55; played under an a umed name at City of London theatre 1827; chairman of White chapel board of guardians 1839–48; member for White chapel of Metropolitan Board of Works 1865 to death; contributed many papers to The Reliquary, quarterly archæological journal and review 1861 to death. d. 5 Church st Spital fields, London 1 Sep. 1875.
