— Eccentric-sheave. A cast-iron sheave keyed to the crank-shaft, encircled by the eccentric-strap, having an eccentric rotation for converting the circular motion of the crank-shaft to a reciprocating motion, which is transmitted by the eccentric-rods and link, etc. to the slide-valve.
