In vocal music, this part is committed to boys or females. The treble is divided into first or highest treble, and second or low treble. Half treble, or, as it is sometimes called, mex%o soprano, is a high counter-tenor. TRECK SCHUYT. {Dutch., track ship or boat.) The covered boats drawn by horses or cattle, and used for the conveyance of goods and pa engers on the Dutch and Flemish canals, are so called.
