Manchester; librarian Shakespeare memorial library, Str at ford-on-Avon 17 May 1886 to death; made MS. catalogue of all editions of Shakespeare’s plays in every language 1889; wrote 2 dramas Found , Theatre royal, Manchester 2 March 1874 and Agnes of Bavaria , Gaiety theatre, London 31 Oct. 1883; author of The royal family of England, remarks on the royal succe ion 1851. d.
