ore deposit (ordepozit)

Any natural occurrence of ore or of economically valuable metalliferous material, whatever may be its form extent; a metalliferous deposit. Both ore - deposit and metalliferous deposit have been used by authors with e entially the same meaning. Either desig. nation includes veins, whether "fi ure" or "true," "segregated" or "gash"; flat ma es, sheets, or blankets; pipe di eminated and eruptive ma es; stratified deposits-in short, any one of the numerous varieties of form in which the ores of the various metals, or more rarely the metals themselves, are presented in nature, or are revealed by mining explorations. veins, pockets, impregnations, and carbon as; Oregon grape. A small rectangular blast-furnace used in lead-smelting in the north sia while in the proce of combustion. It is wholly soluble in water.
