Barnaby's. See Centaurta. (thi'-u-ret), An antiseptic which readily yields its sulphur in a nascent condition. On this property depends its antiseptic action. It is a crystalline powder, practically insoluble in water, and is best used in combination as the borate, or perhaps best as the parasulphophenate. hlipsencephalon (thlip-sen-sef -al-on).
