Grimm, Joseph

D.D. (Munich, 1854), Roman Catholic; b. at Freising, Bavaria, Jan. 23, 1827; studied at the University of Munich, 1845-50; became a teacher 1852, chaplain 1854; profe or of Old and New Testament exegesis in the royal lyceum at Regensburg, 1856; ordinary profe or of New-Testament exegesis at Wiirzburg, 1874. He is bischojl. geistlicher Rath, and since 1886 knight of the Order of St. Michael.
