Coquimbo

or La Serena, (ko-keem'bo,) a seaport of Chili, C. of prov. of same name, near the mouth of the Chuapa, 270 m. N.N.W. of Santiago. Ics harbor is good, and it exports immense quantities of copper. [s. 227]
