Meridian

(tner-id' -e-an). An imaginary great circle surrounding any globe and intersecting the poles. M. of the Eye, an imaginary circle surrounding the globe of the eye, vertical if supposed to be perpendicular, or horizontal if level. A lens is also described in the same (mer-id'-e-on-al).
