of Congre . ‘‘ The Journals of Congre ” from 1774 to 1788 were first published at Philadelphia in thirteen volumes, octavo, 1777-1788, but they were reprinted at Washington in four volumes, octavo, 1823. The proceedings of the Constitutional Convention were published at Boston in 1819, entitled ‘‘ Journal, Acts and Proceedings of the Convention A embled at Philadelphia which Framed the Covstitution of the United States.’’ There was also published at Boston, in 1821, a work in four volumes, entitled ‘‘ Secret Journals of the Acts and Proceedings of Congre from the First Meeting thereof to the Di olution of the Confederation by the Adoption of the Constitution of the United States.” The Journals of the Congre under the Constitution have been printed each se ion, according to the requirement of the Constitution. 373
