[Lat.] Astron.: The Clock; one of Lacaille's southern constellations. To find it, a line must be drawn through Canopus to the southern part of Eridanus. None of the stars is larger than the fifth magnitude. thorologium-floræ, s . Botany : 1. A floral clock. [FLORAL.] 2. A table showing the time when the plants of the same species flower in different latitudes, or at different places.
