Clodomir, ( klo'do -meer,) son of Clovis, succeeded, on the death of his father in 511, to the kingdom of Orleans. He fought against Sigismund, king of Burgundy, took him prisoner, and put him to death. He himself was afterwards slain in a battle with Gondomar, Sigismund's succe or, in 524. He left three children, of whom two were murdered by their uncle, and the third, Clodoald, saved himself by flight.
