The ventral surtace of the fornix cerebri at its posterior part, which, from the transverse lines that cro it, arbor vitae. 1. vaginal is. The rugous bears some resemblance to a lyre. 1. Uterina. See arbor vitae uterina, under surface of the vagina. [Gr., lyra, harp.] lysemia (li-se'me-ah). Disintegration of the blood. [Gr., lysis, solution, -faima, blood.] lysidin (lis'id-in). A 50 per cent, solution of ethylene-ethyl-amidin, C-»HhN2. It is used as a substitute for piperazin. lysin (li's in). 1. One of the amino acids resulting from the hydrolysis of proteins. It is alpha-epsilon-diamino-caproic acid, NH2(CH2)4CH(NH2)COOH. It is one of the hexone bases. 2. Antibody which disintegrates or di olves its antigen. lysis (li's is).or1. immune The general of normal serum solvent power for foreign cells or other substances. 2.
