Dillmann

Christian Fried rich August, a German Orientalist; born in Illingen, in Wurtemberg. April 25, 1823. In 1864 he was called to the - chair of Old Testament Exegesis at Gie en, which in 1869 he resigned to become Hengstenberg’s succe or at Berlin. Dillmann was beyond question the first authority in Europe on the Pi languages.
