[Pref. hydro- (2), and Eng. cærulignone.] chloric acid and cærulignone. It crystallizes from Chem.: Obtained by the action of tin and hydro alcohols in colorle plates, which melt at 190°. Heated with concentrated hydrochloric acid, it is converted into methyl chloride CH3Cl and hexoxydiphemyl C12H4(OH)6.
