Nema to phyton (nema to fit on)

See Ne matophycus. Nema to pod a (nem-a-top'ō-da), n. pl. [NL., with a second cla Polyplaxiphora, containing the chitons: so called from the thready legs of barnacles or acorn-shells. The Nema to pod a were divided into two families, Lepadicea and Balanidea. See cuts under Lepadidæ and Balanus.
