The same as RINGED-SNAKE (q. v.). gra -table, s. Arch.: The same as EARTH-TABLE (q. v.). gra -tree, s. Bot.: The liliaceous genus Xanthorrhea. On the Swan River and elsewhere in Australia they furnish valuable fodder for cattle. Before the native Tasmanians became extinct, they were wont to eat the tender leaves at the top of the stem. The name gra -tree is used also of Richea dracophylla and Kingia australis .
