Eunuch

(u'nük.) [Gr., literally, a bed-maker.] Ono of ac la of male servants attached to Eastern harems, and who are, previous to entering upon their vocation in lifo, deprived of their virility. The practice of making and employing E. dates from times of the earliest antiquity. 2T [s. 345]
