G., Bicipital, the deep groove on the anterior surface of the humerus separating the greater and le er tuberosities and containing the long tendon of the biceps. G., Cavernous, abroad groove on the superior surface of the sphenoid bone lodging the internal carotid artery and the cavernous sinus. G., Medullary, a long shallow furrow that appears along the dorsal line of the neural tube of the embryo. 302
