CURTAINS

The frame covered with curtains of fine twined linen, with blue, purple, and scarlet, with embroidered cherubim, in 10 pieces looped together with gold hooks, each piece 28 cubits long by 4 broad; in all (10 by 4), 40 cubits; 10 cubits covering the west end, and 30 reaching to the front; the pieces (28) cubits long), lying acro , and hanging within half a cubit of the ground, on each side, Ex. 26.1-6. Over the 1st curtain was a curtain of goat's hair, in 11 pieces looped together with bra hooks, each piece 30 cubits long by 4 broad, Ex. 26.7-11; in all (11 by 4), 44 cubits; 10 cubits covering the west end, the side folds lapped over protecting the west end; 30 cubits reaching to the front; the pieces lying acro and touching the ground on each side; and 4 cubits hanging over the front, Ex. 26.7-13.
