neurapophysis

[Pref. neur-, and Eng. apophysis (q. v.).] Anat .: The spinous proce of a vertebra; the proce formed at the junction of the neural arches. neū-răs-the-ni-a, s. [Gr. neuron =anerve, and asthenia weakne .] Pathol.: A nerve disease, thought to be dependent upon some disorder of the spinal cord and its adjuncts. Its predisposing cause is thought to be severe mental exertion.
