Spanish painter. His virgin saints and his beggar boys are famous. Among his great works are St. Elizabeth of Hun¬ gary, The Prodigal Son, The Young Beggar, Moses Striking the Rock, St. Anthony of Padua, and the Marriage of St. Catheruie.
