Synovial membranes are of three kinds: articular synovial m’s, or those that line the cavities of a joint, forming the synovial capsule: bursa synovial m's, or those that line bursa mucose; and vaginal synovial m's, or those that line tendon- sheaths, forming synovial sheaths. tarsal m., the palpebral cartilage.
