Queens ton Heights (Second American War)

Fought October 13, 1812, between 4,000 British (chiefly Canadian volunteers), under General Brock, and about 5,000 Americans, under Van Ren elaer Ren elaer . The Americans attacked the British position on Queens ton Heights, and after very severe fighting, were totally defeated. The exact lo es are unknown, but the British took 1,000 prisoners, and the American column was practically annihilated.
