The same as ARRACK (q. v.). pariah-dog, s. Zool.: The name given to those individuals of Canis familiar is which have run wild, and which are found in many parts of eastern Europe-notably in Constantinople, where they are the only scavengers, and in Asia. They are about two feet high, yellow, black, or a dirty white, with erect, pointed ears, and smooth skins. They form packs or bands, which take po e ion of a district, repelling all intruders.
